A: No, we are not an employee service company. RRC is a provider of
experts in ICT for customers needing specialized project services and products
requiring multiple disciplines and elements within a single project that do not require long term commitments.
Time
lines range from 3 to 18 months.
A: For specialized services and projects, yes we hire subject matter experts (SME's) on contract to fulfill specific requirements of a clients needs. The accountability of SME is with RRC and not the client.
A: We do not contract to clients needing short term employee for temporary service without a mandate. There are plenty of organizations out there that fulfill those roles. We bring the right people together to create solutions. Our experience is based on projects requiring specific services and application knowledge, but do not need these individual experts for extended periods of time. We do offer post project support and maintenance, something a recruiting or head-hunter company can not do.
A: No. However this limits what terms and conditions can be offered to the customer. Our accountability would be for very specific roles and responsibilities. We do offer segment services where we deliver specific components of a project encompassing larger scope.
A: Voice I.P. implementation is a common request. There maybe a national roll-out of VOIP. Our scope maybe only provincial (or vice versa) in requirements and fulfillment. A contractor that is responsible for the national service and implementation would contract our group for the regional presence required and offered. Our contract would be with the national contractor or directly with the client upon mutual agreement. In this same scenario, RRC maybe only responsible for the Voice mail services of the entire project and not the national deployment.
A client may have master contracts with specific vendor(s) and RRC is the prime project manager. RRC engineers may not provide the services for the voice mail system, instead use the master agreement vendor as per any client agreement already in place and enforced. Our team would plan, audit and review any requirements needed for the aspect of the project, document and plan with the client how to implement the specific portion assigned to their contracted vendor.
A: No, we are not a technical support provider for any products or solutions used in the services we implement. Our services offer the option of ensuring that you have the proper tools, such as training, 3rd party service recommendations, product knowledge, service desk processes and factory support by advising on T&C's, Warranty terms, including any E&O's that agreements might be open to interpretation. Our consultant service also compliments this option with other components such as impacts to all elements in a project could increase TCO, and are properly documented and submitted with analysis for review of the total project. These options are not mandatory requirements.
IT infrastructure and services encompasses more than computers and your business software.
Technology and application opportunities are expanding in capability, power and complexity.
With the network cable layer becoming critical to daily operations,
any device or application depending on its reliability becomes magnified
as the sum of the parts is truly beyond traditional thinking.
Redundancy in the network is no longer the saviour of the IT department.
Application services demands placed upon them are nearing 99.999% uptime.
The result is that cabling and layer 1 redundancy is expanding and
requiring unique solutions that are beyond traditional methods. Simply
adding dual network cards, routers, switches, DNS is no longer enough.
